Rachel oil - 6 x 6
On the Potomac River between Point of Rocks, Md and Harpers Ferry, WV, there is a rapid with a four foot drop in the river. This makes for an exciting ride on a kayak or just swimming. In this painting, Rachel is sitting on one of these rocks above the rapids, resting after swimming, as the sun was setting.

These are beautiful. Are you getting any faster by doing it every day? or just better?
I have only done 8 portraits for my daily painting, so ask me again after I've done 50, by then, I think I can't help but improve and be faster at portraits.
I've also used this photo for art projects. It's one of my favorites and I just love this portrait. Good job, Mama!!!
